ORIGINAL 24 HOURS OF LE MANS - BP ENAMEL SIGN

Enamel car parking sign dated 1955

Dimensions: 65 x 45 cm. (25 1/2 x 17 3/4 in.)

Double-sided, one side inscribed "24 Heures" and bearing the number 35, the other side bearing the BP logo on a green background.

Makers mark:  Art France Luynes. Touraine 5.55

The parking lots for visitors were divided into several zones, green parking, blue parking and red parking. Signs marked the paths to make it easier for the public to find their vehicles. The green parking lot had the sponsor BP logo on a green background.
